Clerical Error Tawse

Some sins require more than confession— for your more corporal penance, turn to the Clerical Error Tawse! The Zebrawood handle is laser engraved with a design inspired by 17th century confessional booths and fits well in the hand. It is a manageable 16 inches, better for a more intimate encounter and lightweight enough so not as to tire the wrist.

The tails of the tawse are made of a vegetable-tanned leather and produce a stingy, whip-like sensation. The edge is slightly beveled, catching and leaving lovely pink stripes on the skin. 

For cleaning, saddle soap and a soft cloth should do the trick. All Octavius + Rhodes leather products come pre-conditioned with a beeswax rub, and respond well to an occasional conditioning every few months to retain their softness and keep from cracking.
